Laura Yockey, Founder & Director:
Laura Yockey is the founder of LOVE ALIVE INTERNATIONAL Inc. She has a vision of love, and compassion for the continent of Africa, especially Rwanda and East Africa. She has made Rwanda her home for the past ten years, and has devoted her life to showing the life-changing love of God to the people of Africa. Laura received her Masters degree from Liberty University in Professional Counseling in 2012. That same year she founded Love Alive International, a 501-C3 Faith-based NGO. In January of 2013 she began her work in Rwanda.
Laura met her husband Alain while working in Rwanda. They have one son, Blaise, who accompanies Laura in all ministry endeavors. Love Alive ministries include supporting local churches, child-sponsorship, a pre-school, care for abandoned infants, an agricultural project, and family support.
Beverley Nash, Vice President:
Beverley has served for a number of years in women’s ministries. She has served in missions in Kazakhstan, is an active member of Stevens Street Baptist Church where she teaches Bible Studies & Life Groups, and mentors young women.
Robert Yockey, Treasurer:
Robert Yockey has faithfully served in ministry capacities for 40 years. He currently pastors the Calvary Baptist Church of Sparta, TN.
Danielle Heffernan, Secretary:
Pastor’s wife, prayer-warrior, teacher, and home-school-mother of four, Danielle and her husband planted and minister to their community through the Crosspoint Church of North East, GA.
